Preston North End Football Club
Three quarters of the ground have now been redeveloped in recent years, with some excellent looking all seater stands, complete with spectacular looking floodlights. The three stands, at both ends and at one side of the pitch, are of the same height and style and are all large, covered, single tiered stands. Each has a likeness of a past player outlined on the seats and is named after that player. Tom Finney, Bill Shankly and now on the latest stand to be built, goalkeeping legend Alan Kelly, makes a welcome change from the boring letters (such as 'Holte End' - Don't they know which stand they are in?) outlined on most new stands. |
