'The hotel is well located in Norwich a few blocks north of the cathedral. Our room with twin beds and bath was attractive and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The proprietor is friendly and helpful. As for parking, there is a car park close to the hotel, but you need coins to buy the ticket for the windshield. Hotel guests are allowed to park free after 5pm at a church several doors down Colegate Road from the hotel. Otherwise, if you park on the street, you must purchase a ticket to put in the windshield, and it (and the car park) are fairly expensive. We got a parking ticket, but on returning home we promptly emailed the Norwich Parking authority, which waived the hefty fine.'

'The room (No 3) was comfortable, but the bedside lights although decorative were useless for reading in bed - the ensuite well-appointed and the large shower tray much appreciated. My wife doesn't eat a cooked breakfast and was impressed with the choice of yoghurt, fruit, croissants and rolls on offer; my cooked breakfasts were excellent. No 17 is extremely convenient for the city centre, and the parking permit a big plus point. Our main problem was the all-pervading smell of fabric softener which set my wife's nose running.'

'What a lovely place! The owners were really friendly and welcomed us into their beautiful B&B. We were taken through to the converted stables where we entered into our lobby area and were amazed by the interior and space inside our room.
