'Pleasant B&B. Very accommodating with many extra's not normally found, like a fully fitted guest kitchen, guest sitting room & a dining room. Laundry facilities too - you could stay here for a good wee while with all the extra facilities, and the breakfast? Superb!'

'We booked on line, and had no previous information about the venue. Exceptionally well pleased with every aspect of our stay. Can only say that if you are within reach of Southpark, do not go anywhere else !!!'

'This was an excellent place to stay, friendly and welcoming. Host was extremely helpful by advising where to go to eat and offered us a lift into town. Room was more than ample and plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate available. Breakfast was huge and delisious, well worth the money. The added guest kitchen was a bonus as it had all amenities you would need. Fabulous place and would stay again for more than one night.'

'Spacious, comfortable accomodation with wonderful views over the countryside from our bedroom. A hearty breakfast in the conservatory was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend for anyone thinking of staying in the area, and the taxi fares in the area are very reasonable so that mean we had even more money to spend at the wedding at Comlongon Castle.'

'If your visiting Dumfries and your looking for a very reasonable place to stay with an extra friendly service then this is the place for you. Beware of the breakfast though, its awesome and you'll not want to do much for a while after it. Give this place a try and you'll go back time after time, we do.'

'As a female travelling alone for the first time I was a little apprehensive, but I needn't have worried as I quickly felt at home at Southpark. I was only staying for a long weekend but my room had everything necessary to make my stay a comfortable one. The dining room was lovely and I can certainly recommend the porridge. I didn't want to have my evening meal out so I was particularly happy with the guest kitchen which included a microwave. So after enjoying the beautiful scenery that Dumfries and Galloway had to offer I was able to spend a relaxing evening in my room.'
