'Wanting to stay in Newmarket for a wedding we found all the Hotels had doubled their rates(Jools Holland was performing at the Races).But not The Firs who provided us with first class accommodation and a superb breakfast in plush surroundings.Bev and Adrian are your perfect hosts and also recommended the most obliging local Taxi service to and from our venue.Top marks for quality and value quite the best B&B we have ever stayed at.'

'After a great days racing we arrived at The Firs to a very warm welcome.We were shown to the fabulous Blue room in the Family home. Our stay with Adrian & Bev was totally relazing & we were made to feel at home. The breakfast was fantastic. As we visit Newmarket on a regular basis we have now found the perfect place to stay!!! 'The Firs is in a lovely location close to two good Pubs, one of them serves very good food. Adrian & Bev are exellent hosts. Breakfasts are freshly prepared using local produce of the highest standard. The Suite that we had was Spotless comfortable and had all of the amenities you would hope for in a four star hotel. We enjoyed our stay over May Day weekend 2011.'
