Church View is located in the pretty village of Stockton on the Forest, opposite the village church 3 miles from the historic city of York. Bus runs every 30mins last bus back midnight Over 200 years old and a former farmhouse, it offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation. Self catering cottages and a bunk house for groups on a budget. The B&B can accommodate couples families or group accommodation and has a cosy visitors lounge to relax in real fires on chilly evening breakfast of your choice and evening meal can be ordered all rooms ensuite have tv dvd or video players with a selection of music cds dvds and videos The cottages ajoin the house and provide quality self catering accommodation Cottage 1 has a double bed and two single in one room with lounge kitchen stable door to outside parking area. Cottage 2 has a double bed and sigle bed can be let as twin. attractive lounge with kitchen area. Cottage 3 is a two bedroomed cottage with double bed and separate twin room can have extrabed in for three children large attractive lounge with opening patio doors parking outside To the rear of the cottages in a newly converted bunk house that sleeps up to 20 a large bunk bedded room with cosy snug sitting/eating area with double shower/toiliet block The ideal place for a groups Hen night accommodation Stag nights Motorbike friendly with locked bike storage We can also cater for small or large groups and help you celebrate a special occasion The village has an excellent 18hole golfcourse walking distance from the house and a bus runs into York and East Coast every 30 minutes. There are many lovely country pubs including the Fox Inn just a short stoll over the road serving excellent food there are lovely country walks The East coast and North Yorkshire Moors Heartbeat country are less than an hour away Castle Howard home of Brideshead revisited is a 15 minute drive. A taste of the country 10 mins from tow
