'I've stayed at Mansfield Lodge before as it's very near to my mother's place. Conveniently located in a leafy, smart area of town the lodge is very handy being 5 minutes walk into the town centre and with ample car parking. It has been newly decorated and refurbished, is clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. I've not had dinner there but I do enjoy the full English breakfast!'

'Mansfield Lodge is a pleasant, simple, small, family run hotel which always provides a nice welcome and good value. I have visited frequently over the last 10 years or so and always find a pleasant welcome. Since becoming a hotel (it was originally a guest house), each time I visit there seems to have been some kind of improvement. There is good parking and the location is very convenient for town.'
