'We have stayed in the Garrison Hotel a few times over the years. We like the quirkiness of the Hotel as it was part of the old Army Barracks and has a great history. Staff very friendy, room very clean, good breakfast to start your day off, good location, as there are great transport links in Hillsborough ie tram/ buses have you into city centre in ten minutues.'

'We stayed overnight after attending an event at Owlerton Stadium which is within easy walking distance, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff very welcoming and friendly, would not hesitate to stay again if attending a function in the area. The only slight criticism is the amount of staff on duty at breakfast time, we were waiting a long time for the waitress to take our order due to the hotel being full and only two waitresses on duty.'

'I was travelling to Sheffield for business and chose the Garrison due to it's proximity to the building I was visiting. There was a warm welcome from the lady on reception, my room was cosy with a big tv, nice arm chair and a bath and shower, I had a tasty dinner and enjoyed a good breakfast (cooked and continental). All staff were friendly and professional and the whole complex was nicely presented. All in all, I was very impressed and would certainly visit again!'
