'We stayed at Seraphine, Kensington, for three nights. Overall a nice hotel and helpfull staff. However there was a few challenges to make the stay comfortable. We had to ask for the iPod-docking station (which was announced on the website), the plug converter could only be rentet for a short periode and we had to change room after the first night, because there was an electric generator outside the window that went on and off all night. I suppose I wasn't the first one to complain about that. Breakfast was fine - but I would prefer to be able to manage my own cup of tea, and not to ask for it (it limited my enjoyment). The staff in the reception was helpful and responsive to any requests.'

'Good value hotel for where it was on Kensington High Street. However, no atmosphere and no sense of welcome from the staff. I was travelling from Dublin with two of my children to see the Dr Who Experience at Olympia nearby. When I checked in, I was told that a sofa bed would be made up for us when we went out to dinner. This wasn't done. The whole experience was very sterile, cold, unwelcoming. To me, the atmosphere of an hotel, the welcome you get, is almost more important than the accommodation itself. But then, I'm Irish, so I probably would say that...,'

'Great Value for this area of London, rooms are small but modern, clean and well equipped. Buffett breakfast is basic but included in the price so can't complain. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.'
