'What can I say about our recent gourmet break, although we were told that the room we were staying in was being updated, it was clean, comfortable with a great bathroom. The 3 course a la carte dinner was nothing short of fantastic, a true explosion for the taste buds. Coffee and after dinner drinks by the fire with warm hospitality, I would recommend The Bull Hotel to anyone and will be visiting again soon, thank you for a truly terrific weekend.'

'We have just spent two nights at the Fab Hotel. Great room, (one that has just been revamped ) Lovely atmosphere, from the moment you arrive, Martin, the owner, couldn't do enough for us , but in a laid back way. All the people, who work, at The Bull are accommodating, and nothing is too much trouble, The Food at The Bull, has to be tried to be believed ! Brilliant , laid back hotel open fires, in Restaurant, which creates, a wonderful atmosphere. Would reccomend this lovely Hotel to anyone looking for a break. Thank you Martin Catherine Kerr-Costello'

'My elderly mother and I stayed for 4 nights in March 2012 at the Bull Hotel and had a great time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and we had a newly renovated room which was spacious and beautifully equipped. Despite lots of work being done at the moment to the Hotel our stay was not spoilt at all. Superb food too!'

'Great accomodation, warm room even with 6 inches of snow falling outside. Thank you James for the loan of your broom to clear the snow from the car, and the fabulous breakfast that followed. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.'

'We came because my husband had a business meeting close by early the next morning and I came along to keep him company. Lovely comfy bed and the room had recently been tastefully refurbished. We liked the beams and the newly laid wooden floor. Useful additions would be a wardrobe and full length mirror, although this might take away some of the rustic character of the room. We had the gourmet deal which included a fantastic 3 course dinner. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and happy to hear our opinions and meet our requests. We would thoroughly recommend The Bull, and may well return ourselves.'

'I chose The Bull because I like to stay "somewhere different" on my frequent business trips. I am selfish and also want a number of key items: A competitive price, A comfortable bed, good broadband, a nice well priced evening meal, good beer, a nice breakfast and good service. It is amazingly difficult to find all of these in one place. The Bull succeeded even though the owners are in the middle of a massive restoration project. Well done. My only note of caution - I hope the resoration does keep some of the quirks and history of The Bull.'

'We had a fantastic party for around 100 people taking over the whole hotel, We had a fantastic night, the food (a hot buffet) was really good especially considering the large number of people. The staff were on the night were excellent and the manager really helpful throughout. Our room was in the attic, small but clean and pleasant. The shower could have been better, too hot or cold and very weak, but the bed was really comfortable which is what we really needed after a night on our feet dancing. The breakfast was very good and beautifully cooked again. Highly recommended.'

'My son and I stayed the night before we went to Brand Hatch for the BTCC. The staff and service were fantastic - 10 out of 10. The food (we both had the rib eye steak) again was fantastic 11 out of 10! The beer was just what the doctor ordered! I was glad to see the signs saying refurbishment was in progress as our twin room on the second floor was a little tired! Having said that, next time we go to Brands Hatch we’d definitely stay there again. The welcome and friendliness of everyone there won it hands down.'

'Stayed for two nights here as I was sick of generic hotels. Very welcoming, comfortable, great food and great value. All rooms are currently in the process of being refitted and I am sure that once this is done, I will be giving a 5 out of 5 vote. As Arnie once famously said, 'I'll be back'!!'

'I was late arriving and it was raining hard. Soon in the room and it was very comfortable...slept very well. Great English breakfast. The bar full of fascinating and proud Battle of Britain memorabilia. Felt a bit sorry for the German family at the next table surrounded by pictures of Spitfires and Lancasters...but wished them a happy holiday! Hope I can stay again.'

'We had a comfortable stay in Wrotham at the Bull, which was conveniently situated for visiting the local area. Staff were polite and helpful, and the bar had good ales. The lovely old building was a bonus, though for light sleepers noises could keep you awake. Bed was comfortable. Didn't get to try restaurant, sadly. Decor in the hotel area could do with refreshing, though public area is lovely.'

'Quaint small old traditional English lodging with history and charm. Only a few bedrooms above the pub. Building is several hundred years old. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean room and nice breakfast. I would stay there again when in Kent. Try a small Inn hotel instead of a large chain to really experience England.'

'The Bull Inn Hotel was recommended by friends who have stayed for many years since 2002. We stayed over brands hatch weekend 23-24 april 2011, easy reach from brands hatch, lovely peaceful location in a small village. The Bull Inn has lots of history and character, rooms very clean, we stayed in room 3 which was a really comfortable 4 poster bedroom, the room is large enough to relax on the comfy couch in the room. Prices very reasonable per night. We had been out and returned to a freshly made bed with clean towels, lovely. Only downfall for room 3 is in need of slight renovation such as curtains not closing properly, bathrooms slightly dated. The food was gorgeous and totally amazing and reasonably priced, really nice full english breakfast and always made to feel welcome by all the staff. Very comfortable seating area in the hotel to sit and enjoy a drink in the bar with friends. We have already booked for another 2 visits this year, we had a wonderful time whilst staying at this beautiful character Bull Inn Hotel.'
