'A beautiful house and surroundings, lovely and very helpful staff. A bit far away from the train station, though, this guesthouse is more accessible if you travel by car. But the excellent hostess and her neighbours helped us out very well, we were surprised about how friendly and helpful most Scottish people are to strangers! We had nothing to complain about in the rooms, they were very fresh and tastefully furnished. Lovely view from the back yard porch. 'What a treat! The highlight was arriving back to the Carndaisy after dinner with my two sons and being greeted by Linda who then offered me a dram of Whisky.
