'Friendly staff. Adequate facilities although heating not easy to control in room. Very good value breakfast. Access with suitcases not easy wi8th antiquated lift and stairs to negotiuate along corridors. Overall good value for money.'

'Only problem was a group of people who were celebrating a Christmas party which went on till 5am in their rooms. This caused us to oversleep a little in the morning. Apart from that, as usual the hotel was good and comfortable.It is very convenient for Derby town centre.'

'It isn't a 5 star hotel but doesn't claim to be. The exterior and interior could do with a bit of attetention but to me what is important is are the bedrooms, service and value for money. The rooms are clean and very comfortable., The staff are very friendly and polite. As for value for money, I cannot find a fault/ For what I pay, I got excellent value for money which is why I keep returning.'

'I found the Aston Court Hotel to be convenient and comfortable. It is located very close to Derby train station and operates a 24 hour reception. The rooms are well decorated and nicely appointed. I would definitely consider Aston Court for my next stay in Derby.'

'We stayed at this hotel last October just by looking for somewhere cheap and convenient, as we are students, and enjoyed it that much that we used it again this year without looking for anything else when we needed to stay over for a few nights. When I arrived at the room the window frame was slightly broken so straight away I was moved to another room, which was the room we stayed in last time which was good, our key card was looked after by reception staff and they looked after our luggage after check out. A very secure and friendly hotel and we will be back again soon! :)'

'we were very surprised at the price we paid for our room for 1 night and followed by 3 nights. Although on the second stay the room was smaller and received noise from cars leaving early in the mornong it was clean and comfortable. All the staff seemed very happy and nothing was too much of a problem for them if you asked for anything. our only concern was, we thought, the price of the full English breakfast and the continental breakfast. a pity a lower price could be incorporated in the room price perhaps this would encourage more people to use the facilities.'
