'I don't know if I picked the right catagory (Mature Couple) but my wife and I were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and found the Craigmoss a great B&B! The location was great because the 11 bus picked you up and dropped you off right in front and went to the city center. The room and bathroom were well taken care of and the bed quite comfortable. Breakfast was good and Isabelle and Harry were very helpful and so so friendly! Only thing I would change is to have the sports channels on the television so we could have seen more football in the evening. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends!'

'We had a lovely 3 night stay and were impressed by the kindness and friendliness and the facilities in our rooms and the hotel computer etc. Breakfast was great and the bed comfortable and it truly was "gay friendly" a major factor when booking was this was on the website. The room was clean and well provided, but I did think the cleaner could have been more thorough - in the shower and around the plughole. We were on the 2nd floor and I would have liked more fire exit/extinguisher info We would happily return and recommend for those who want comfy and friendly.'

'Warmly greeted by Isabelle we were quickly shown to our room (Room 6) which was a large, light and airy. Besides the large bed there was a day-bed and a settee and ample wardrobe storage. Together with the TV, radio-alarm and tea/coffee making facilities one couldn't ask for anything more. The en-suite shower room was small but perfectly formed with good towels and a range of toiletries. The elctric shower wasn't powerful enough for my liking but it wasn't really an issue. Breakfast was excellent with a large helping of Harry's porridge going down a treat. With that and the excellent cooked breakfast I was set up for the day's sightseeing. My wife's healthier breakfast option was also well received. With only 15 minutes walk to the centre and a frequent bus service stopping right outside the location is excellent. Isabelle and Harry were excellent hosts. Downsides? I am a light sleeper and Room 6 overlooked a quite busy road which for me was quite noisy at times. Also the lead for the kettle would not reach the socket from the table, so an extension lead would be handy. All in all though an excellent break and we will definitley return to Craigmoss when we visit Edinburgh again.'
