'I have stayed at Orchard Cottage a couple of times now, and it a great place, with very friendly and helpful owners. The accommodation is very comfortable with a modern feel (e.g. walk-in showers), the beds very good (quilts!) and all other facilities are great. I have had to work in the evenings a couple of times and in many places that can be a uncomfortable experience, often having cramped workspaces with poor chairs, however there were none of these issues here. Breakfast, delivered to the room (at exactly the time requested), was excellent, no matter which option you chose (and there is a good range of choices). Whilst I was staying on business I would be very happy staying here with my family as well.'

'Orchard Cottage, discreetly located behind an ancient building near Cambridge, is a special property. While classed as a "bed and breakfast", it is head and shoulders above what one usually expects of a B&B. 'A very pleaset stay. Down side is that its a little out of the way for central Cambridge where I was working but this is off set by plenty of plus points. Very clean and comfortable accomodation. A very pleasent welcome with the offer of fresh milk for tea. I stayed in the smallest room (single) but still had a good sized table and free internet was a bonus for the business traveller. Breakfast was only served in the room which is unusual but very good quality and quantity and nice and hot. Would happily reccomend and stay again.'

'This is a great place to stay. Its by far the cleanest B&B we have ever stayed in. Breakfast is served in your room and arrives to the second it was ordered but different choices can be made every day according to your appetite. Free access to WiFi is also a plus. The village is convenient for access to Cambridge, St Ives and Ely and makes a great base for a short break or for business travelers (Cambridge Park & Ride is 3 minutes away by car). Our host were both friendly and helped with local information (things to see, pubs, restaurants etc). Will stay again if we are up this way. Book early to avoid missing out!'
