'Just a stone throw from the High St, ideally situated for a visit and a base for touring. Friendly welcome even though the owners were not present and it was not till breakfast i meet David who could not have been friendlier and who had a good relationshap with all the other residents present. Really good breakfast. Loosing out on not having a car park, but this is a listed property on a very narrow road, and i was able to park rightoutside for 40 mins to unload before moving to a car park just a minute away which is free overnight.'

'Booked The Croft for a short weekend break with the other half and my parents (celebrating birthday and anniversary). We opted for a small room, which was very adequate for our uses.. we booked a larger room the the parents to give them more room to move about in. 'We stayed for a couple of nights whilst exploring the lovely town of Bridgnorth. The room was warm and well looked after, although we only had a shower ~ no bath. The hosts were helpful and knowledgeable without being over bearing. There is a comfortable guest lounge and the hotel is within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants. There was a good cooked breakfast with plenty of choice, including home made preserves. All in all a very good value, family run hotel. Enjoyable place to stay for a short break.'

'We arrived in the early evening and were lucky to find a parking space right outside to unload our bags. After a warm wlcome we were shown the relevant points of the very clean and characterful hotel. Our room was very cozy and comfortable. 'Ludlow may be lovely but Bridgnorth has got to be better. Bridgnorth has a funicular, a Thomas Telford-built church, and this excellent comfy wood-beamed friendly B&B - complete with full tasty breakfast - a mere 5 mins walk from both an Art Deco cinema, an ancient Tudor town centre, and bags of independent shops, plus pubs and eateries. The Croft is also 10 mins, by foot and renowned Cliff Railway, from the River Severn - so ideal for a recuperative getaway break in any season. Ironbridge and Wenlock Edge are only a short drive away.'
