'Regrettably we were only staying here for one night while down for a friend's wedding. This B&B is possibly the best we have ever stayed in. The room was stunning and luxurious. We were greeted with coffee and cake and the breakfast in the morning was superb. The only down side was that we were only there for one night!'

'Our second visit (third planned for August!)was as lovely as the first. We were treated with the same attentiveness we received as new guests. Breakfast was fantastic and the homemade blueberry scones on arrival were a welcome nibble when we checked in.'

'A very warm welcome with tea and cake. Very comfortable indeed. The bedroom and bathroom had everything we could possibly think of to make us feel at home. Someone has very tastefully decorated the rooms we saw in keeping with the art deco period of the house. Very tasty breakfast too, and nice to have hot breakfast options avaialble as well as the 'full english'. Will certainly recommed you to others.'

'We had the pleasure to stay at Windbreak House for one night while we were in the area to attend a party. Sally & Steve were the perfect hosts - tea & cake (homemade) on our arrival, they took us to the party venue so we didn't have to arrange a taxi. Our room was beautifully presented and extremely comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was absolutely delicious (sadly one of us had indulged a little too much the night before and wasn't able to manage the full english!) We can recommend Windbreak House 100%.'

'We had the most marvellous stay at Windbrake House, the room was the best we have ever had, with facilities far and beyond that which one would expect. The welcome we received warm and happy. Sally was so helpful with our desire for a lighter quilt, cooler heating and even allowed us to stay on a little longer in the morning. The breakfast exceptionable and delicious. We will recommend to friends and family as well as return ourselves as soon as possible. many thanks for a super duper stay!!!'

'....The stay that is. What a lovely house. Sally made us very welcome with a nice cup of tea on arrival and the homemade mince pies were the best we've had. The house is in excellent order and the room was wonderful. A view of the water helped and the place has an interesting history. We only stayed for one night as we were there for a family occasion, but we've already booked for next year. After a lovely freshly made breakfast we left for home and are looking forward to going back. If you want to treat yourselves and you're in the area - do yourselves a favour and book in! George and Lesley.'

'Windbrake House nestled in Alverstoke could not have been a better discovery for us. Our son was attending his Admiralty Interview Board just up the road at HMS Sultan which meant that the location was just perfect. Windbrake House is a truly fantastic Boutique Bed and Breakfast. Sally was the perfect host with Tea and Cake on arrival and the most fantastic breakfasts. If you need to stay in Gosport we urge you to give Sally a call and make Windbrake House your choice, you really wil not be disappointed. Mark and Madeline Greatbatch. Hertfordshire.'

'From the moment I arrived I felt very welcome and at ease. It was obvious straight away that Sally loves what she does. The House is light and airy, the bedrooms very stylish and comfortable and both en suite a pampering haven. Breakfast was great choices and delicious. Very well positioned for the beach and village. Stay here it's lovely.'
