'Never stayed in a B&B before so was unsure what to expect.Received a friendly welcome from Sadie and was shown to room ,which was spotlessly clean .Was told a few good places to eat ,and Sadie phoned to reserve a table.Bathroom was spotless and a great shower.My wife has coeliac but this was no problem at breakfast time,which was freshly cooked(great free range eggs from their own hens).Both David and Sadie couldn't have been any more helpful or pleasant.Highly recommended.'

'Spent an overnight at the Appletree on the 21st April 2012. Excellent accommodation. Clean and comfortable and our hosts could not have been more helpful. David even organised a taxi for us to take us to the raceground and pointed us in the right direction when we were looking for a nice place for our evening meal(Elliots). Breakfast at the Appletree was relaxed and everything was freshly cooked. Great choice so there was something to suit everyone. Would certainly recommend this B&B.'

'On a recent business trip I spent two very warm & comfortable nights here. The room was well furnished. The en-suite bathroom was very nicely finished and shower easy to use. I had breakfast and this was well cooked and fresh with plenty of choice and ample portions. Sadie is very welcoming and helpful. I always stay in places with a reasonably high rating (8.5+) and was impressed with the Apple Tree which was as, if not better than I expected. A lovely place to stay and I will visit again when in the area.'

'We stayed 1 night at the Appletree B&B and found no fault whatsoever. The rooms were well furnished with good quality bedding and furniture. The bathroom was modern with a good range of toiletries and was much better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in. The owners were lovely and made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was good too. I've no hesitation in recommending'
