Fantastic Experience
5 stars 5

'Our only regret was that we had only one night at The Old Tram House in Stirling on our way to Edinburgh Airport. Our host was most friendly and gracious making us feel very welcome despite our late arrival. She made a quick dinner reservation for us at a great local restaurant serving delicious food. The room, furnishings, ambience and included full Scottish breakfast were all absolutely wonderful. We happened on this B&B almost by accident, but had an incredibly delightful experience. Our stay was limited to only one night due to rigid travel constraints. Highest recommendation!'

Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer!
5 stars 5

'Our stay at The Old Tram House was a highlight of our trip to the UK last week. Allison couldn't have been a nicer hostess. Room was lovely, tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, breakfast great, and the welcome the best of all. After the more impersonal atmosphere in London we were very ready for the warm Scottish welcome we received. Thank you, Allison!'

Stirling Gem
5 stars 5

'We stayed at the Old Tram House in October and only wish our schedule would have allowed us a longer stay. Alison made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home and provided us with information and maps to find our way about Stirling. The location is convenient for visiting the local sites, we had arrived by rail and the B&B is only a short taxi ride from the station. Our room was spotlessly clean and so cozy it was almost too comfortable to leave! The en-suite bathroom was modern and hot water for the shower was plentiful. Coffee, tea, bottled water and cookies in the room added to the total enjoyment. Breakfast was superb and the vegetarian full breakfast was the best I tasted on our vacation in the UK. Thanks Alison for your gracious hospitality!'

'A very warm welcome from Alison. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast very filling. Also, very willing help to find restaurants etc. and she kindly made me a sandwich breakfast for my early departure at 06.30 on the final morning'

Scotland In October
5 stars 5

'The Old Tram House, was exactly what we expected. Alison has done a fantastic job with the rooms, lounge and dining area. Superior B&B and beautifully decorated. And the breakfast was out of this world. Alison's hospitality is second to none. But, if you don't eat all your breakfast, you could be doing the dishes! Kindly, she let me off the hook this time around. Hey Alison, Isle of Mull and Skye were fabulous. Thanks for the info on getting us started there. If anyone is planning a trip to Stirling for a few days, The Old Tram House is the B&B to go to. Sandi & Herb Holst Ontario, Canada'

First Class Stay!
5 stars 5

'We were made very welcome by Alison when we arrived and were shown to a lovely room where Alison gave us direction to several eating places in walking distance. (We opted for the pub and very good fish and chips). After a complimentary drink from Alison we had a very comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was great! Even having little pro-biotic drinks available! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or to stay there again. She is a lady who really cares about her guests.'

Thank you
5 stars 5

'The Old Tram House was the last B&B we stayed on our two-weeks-tour through Scotland and the highlands. We were extremly impressed by the friendliness and hospitality we were welcomed in this place. The house is very exclusive in the range it is decorated in the Victorian style, every detail is selected by a very good taste. Alison, the landlady is very open and friendly and ready to explain and help in all cases. To stay in this house was the highlight on our tour and on our opinion the level of the price is too low compared to other places. Thanks for this beautiful day.'

The best place to stay in Stirling
5 stars 5

'Great welcome from a friendly and knowledgeable hostess, who had a ot of information about the area, where to eat and so on. The house itself is very near the Wallace Monument, and about 15 minutes walk into the town centre. Everything was clean and beautifully appointed, and high quality. We were even offered a generous 'wee dram' of malt whisky for a nightcap. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and generous in portion. In all a lovely place, highly recommended.'
