'Glendavan house is pure luxury right in the middle of the countryside. The views from the windows are magnificent and you can see red squirrels and loads of birds. The rooms are beautiful and the open fire makes it all very cosy. We were looked after very well. The food is great. We had a fantastic time. It is the best place I've ever stayed.'

'We were greeted on arrival and did not want to leave. A beutiful house with very comfortable rooms. We stayed in a suite which included a stunning bathroom, comfy and cosy bed and a lovely lounge with real fire. The breakfast was incredible, i didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! We were made to feel at home and would recommend staying here to anyone.'

'Glendavan is the best B&B I have ever stayed at,in any country. The attention to detail is extraordinary. The breakfast would match any 5 star hotel. I just wish we had known what we would find so that we could have planned a longer visit. It is faultless from the bed linen, bathroom accessories, chocolates with sherry, tea and shortbread on arrival, freshly laid eggs with butter-soaked soldiers, fresh orange juice. The setting is idilic. Go out of your way to stay there.'

'Our, unfortunately, brief stay at Glendavan house was faultless. The Davan room was tastefully and comfortably furnished with a bed to die for and an amazing view. All creature comforts were to hand. My husband particularly enjoyed the use of the pantry for making cups of coffee and nibbling on the delicious homemade shortbread. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience, both the food and the company of the other guests. Red squirrels were in abundance in the garden - the best views of them being from the suites. Rebecca's recommendation for The Victoria Restaurant was spot-on.'

'Glendavan House is a beautiful old house with bags of character, in a wonderful woodland setting. My wife and I stayed in the downstairs suite which had leather chairs by a coal fire, and the fire had been lit for us by the hosts who were lovely. You can tell there is a lot of attention to detail and the use of a guest kitchen is an excellent idea for making snacks and tea. Our son stayed in an upstairs room which had fantastic views. As an overnight stay before we dropped him off to start his 1st year at university,it was the perfect place for a special occasion.'

'Unfortunately, my wife and I only stayed one night, but the stay was wonderful. We arrived late (after all the local restaurants were closed) so Rebecca offered to prepare a snack plate for us. She put together a great tray of cheese, meat, salad, bread, and crackers. She definitely went above and beyond! Her and her family are so welcoming. You feel like your staying with old friends. The house is beautiful, and the setting is just gorgeous. We had the front room, which has a great view. You have to go across the hall for your private bathroom, but the lovely room and view make up for it. We are already planning our return!'
