'The Lyndhurst is a beautiful tranquil place to stay.The room had everything we could wish for. The lady of the house Christine was extremely welcoming, she provided us with coffee and cake in the lounge as we arrived she also gave my husband and myself information and advise about local walks and places to eat. We have stayed in some beautiful and quite expensive hotels in the lakes over the last 30 years, but I have to say this was both a wonderful place to stay and value for money.Thank you.'

'We were not disappointed when we arrived at Lyndhurst as we were welcomed and immediately offered a pot of tea and some scones, delicious.
