'We had one night's stay here breaking our journey from Devon to the northwest. Our room was comfortable and tastefully styled. Food restaurant quality and restaurant price, couldn't fault it. Only thing we really didn't like was the football being shown in the "bar" which is actually more like a restaurant. Apart from that, couldn't fault the place - very comfortable.'

'My husband and I both enjoyed a great stay at the Royal Forester. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The room was comfy and well appointed, with all mod cons, and an auberguine theme, nicely interpreted. The breakfast was extremely good, with both fruit, cereal, and a choice of full cooked, locally sourced ingredients, as well. Having left my telephone charger in the room, I was delighted to receive it back, by post, two days later. Altogether a very good experience and highly recommended.'

'Our whole experience staying at this hotel was excellent. We spent the evening of our wedding day here and it really was the perfect end. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very generous, freshly prepared and delicious! Our family joined us for breakfast as non-guests and they were happily accommodated.
