'Spent a very relaxing few days in April. Our room was spacious, bright and airy with fantastic views to the sea - such a treat to be able to see the sea from the comfort of your bed in the morning! Beautifully decorated and very peaceful yet still within walking distance to Boscastle - provided you can cope with the steep hill back up to the house! Wonderful breakfasts, beautifully prepared and tasty unusual specials available each day - in addition home made banana bread, raspberry muffins and blueberry scones not to be missed! Sean was a perfect host, eager to ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in this beautiful part of Cornwall.'

'Our room was lovely with a very nice bathroom, heated towel rails, a comfortable bed, dressing gowns, etc etc Breakfast was fantastic. Passion fruit yoghurt with fresh passion fruit pulp, very nice poached eggs (no vinegar taste!)... We always felt perfectly cared for and only received good, detailed recommendations for anything we needed. The best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in! I look forward to coming back and would recommend it to anyone!'

'Everything was great. Sean was friendly and helpful from start to finish, the hotel itself is beautiful - a lovely lounge filled with books and magazines, an amazing breakfast room with amazing breakfasts - tropical fruit, a different cold dish every day, a different baked good, and a different cooked special alongside a large permanent menu. The food is cooked to perfection. The only problem is the size of your stomach - you'll want to try everything. The rooms are big, airy, light and very well decorated - big, comfortable beds, lovely wallpaper, modern clean bathrooms and in the Trelawny room at least, a great view over the village. The hotel is set in a lovely little village that rewards exploration, with plenty of good pubs and restaurants around. Sean will provide good advice if you ask. I really recommend this place - they are doing a really good job and know how to make you feel at home as well as feeling pampered.'

'I have had the pleasure of 'finding' this amazing place and will try to return at every opportunity! The house is a beautiful place to be, warm welcoming and a home from home. The bed was the most comfortable bed(apart from my own) I have ever slept in. High tea upon arrival was very welcome after the journey and breakfast is a real treat. 'We stayed at Boscastle House for four nights. We enjoyed every moment. Our room was large enough to hold a sofa and coffee table, and to my delight, had a wide window facing west from which we could see a sliver of ocean beyond undulating farmland and dramatic cliffs. The breakfast room was sunny and comfortable and breakfast was tasty, imaginative, varied, and pretty to look at. Sean was a generous host. He shared maps and books of things to do in Cornwall and made very useful suggestions. If we ever return to Cornwall, I would happily stay at Boscastle House again.'
