'This was the start of our three week trip through the Uk. we stayed for two nights. Our room was small, but clean and we had a delicious dinner. The people were very friendly and nice and the owner had this great English humor. Super guy. Hope his back is still OK after he has lifted my wife's suitcase!!'

'We had a four night stay and had a wonderful time. The hotel had been fully refurbish and our room was clean and comfortable. The food was plentiful and of excellent quality. What made the visit particularly noteworthy was the very good service and friendliness of all the staff. Thank you for a lovely stay, hope to see you soon!'

'Arrived about 6:20 PM and asked about parking. Was told there was some round the back but it was full, however I could park in the road. After an excellent Haddock & Chips at the Pilot Fish restaurant I returned to find a parking spot right outside. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The bed was very good. Breakfast was excellent as was the service on check in and departure'

'My wife and I recently stayed at the Captain Howey Hotel for 2 nights (Sunday and Monday). We chose the Hotel because it was convenient for the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway which is just opposite the Hotel. Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean, the staff very pleasant and the meals (we had 2 breakfasts and 1 evening meal) were very good. A room mirror would have been appreciated by my wife and we both thought that the room would have been enhanced by a couple of sitting chairs and provision of drinking glasses. Enjoyed our stay and would certainly use the Hotel again if we were staying in the area.'
