'What a super place to stay. Steve and Jenny were great and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived (20:45) The breakfasts were top class and our room clean and tastefully furnished with a sea view. Stayed three nights, would have liked to stay longer but the Wife had work on the Tuesday.'

'Just befire we arrived there was a massive fire at a neighbouring hotel - after some unxcertainty we were assured that we could stay. Steve responded marvellously to the difficulties in which we foudn oursekves with police closures nearby etc. We could not have been more warmly welocmed with tea on arrival - Steve and Jennie did evreythiong and more to make our stay easy and comfortable - the place was spotless - the breakfasts were first class - nothign was too much trouble. We have no hesitation in recommending them highly - our son and his wife visited us briefly and were similarly impressed and on a future visit they and other members of the family may try top stay at San Remo. 'Can't recommend this place more highly - especially if you have a dog. We were made very welcome (a pot of tea was made for us on arrival at 6pm) and Steve and Jenny wer very attentive and helpful without ever making us feel cramped, as can happen in some guest houses. Breakfasts were just right, filling us up without leaving us feeling stuffed. The location is great, with the Gilly beach and bar just a few yards down the road.'

'Myself, my father and a couple of my mates stayed here recently on our annual Grumpy Old Men on tour short break. We found the owners, Jenny & Steve to be very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and all had en suite facilities. Another great feature was the excellent breakfast which certainly ticked all our boxes. The accommodation is ideally situated opposite Gyllygnvase beach with gardens and local walks also close to hand. Plenty of restaurants and pubs are also within a short walk. All in all a great place to stay which I would recommend highly.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the San Remo, although it was only for one night. The rooms was very clean and beds lovely and comfortable. We stayed with our two children aged 6 and 2 in the ground floor family room which was ideal. Jenny even provided us with a toy box full of toys which our two loved! Breakfast was lovely, our 6 year old daughter especially liked the chocolate cornflake cakes. The location was fantastic so close to the beach. We would definitely stay again'

'Stayed at San Remo for a weekend break with our 12 week old puppy. Was surprised at how pleased I was with this accomodation. The rooms are lovely and clean, especially as we were given a room that allowed dogs.The breakfast was very nice and owners are very helpful.You get what you pay for, no luxury, but a good b&b. being picky, need new hairdryers in the rooms, but that is really being picky. would highly recommend.'

'We stay at the San Remo when we bring our daughter down to the university and when time permits stay for a few days longer.
