'Our stay at the Greyhound Hotel was wonderful--perfectly placed just after exams and before the beginning of our next term. Lovely reception and staff throughout, very considerate and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. No trouble adjusting to provide vegetarian options or allowing for early check-in upon our arrival. Overall, highly recommended for an escape from the city. A true gem!'

'We had a lovely time in Cromford and couldn't have asked for more from our weekend. The room was very spacious and clean, with a massive bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Matt, who was very accommodating. The surrounding area was picturesque and has everything you need just to relax and enjoy each others company. 'We enjoyed our stay at the Greyhound hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our three course evening meal was very enjoyable and generous. The room was quite small, generally comfortable (except the bed), with a good shower. Breakfast was simple, with a pleasant cooked breakfast marred only by a rather overcooked sausage. We stayed on a special deal including dinner, bed and breakfast. Because of this deal, we consider our stay to have been good value, and under similar arrangements we would be happy to stay again. But without the discount offer I would consider the greyhound's accommodation to be a little over priced for the facilities on offer.'

'the room was spacious and comfortable with a good bed at the right height. the bathroom was clean and well planned with plenty of space for our things. it would have been even better with a grab handle near the toilet. it was lovely to find 2 comfortable chairs in there. the food was lovely and the portions just right (i.e. not so big I felt outfaced. the restaurant we used mostly was easy to reach and the staff reserved the one table that I could comfortably use. the other restaurant was down steps with no handrail, making it difficult for me to get into. the staff were charming and very helpful, including the chef, who clearly enjoyed talking about his food. i would like to come here again.'
