White Rose Lodge - Description

We welcome you to White Rose Lodge our family home and 5* Silver rated guest accommodation with ETB. We are situated in the beautiful cinque port town of Sandwich 5mins drive to Royal St George's and Princes Golf Courses and a 5/10 walk into the town centre. The town boasts many good restaurants and 15c pubs plus quaint tea rooms for that typically English cream tea. We are not a hotel so please don't expect hotel facilities although we strive hard to provide such and are always on hand to help you whenever needed. Our accommodation comprises of one king size bed room/ one double room and one twin room. The king and twin rooms can be used as a family suite or booked separately and have a large private marble shower room whilst the double room has a large private adjacent bathroom with roll top bath and a separate shower cubicle. Bath robes/fluffy towels and generous refreshment trays are provided together with TV and free wifi in all rooms. Our award winning breakfast is served in our beautiful large conservatory and local and home grown produce from "The Garden of England" is used when possible. Special diets can be catered for on request. We also have a beauty salon within the house as Gill owner is a highly qualified therapist and can provide massage/reflexology/facials/manicures etc by appointment. Guests also have use of the secluded hot tub in our 2/3rd acre garden subject to any medical conditions. Medieval Sandwich was once one of the busiest of English ports but now it is a peaceful pretty town with a wealth of architecture and a lovely waterfront full of boats and yachts. Sandwich is now 2 miles from the sea which you still walk to across the golf course or by the river. Gill is also a Kent Greeter and will be happy to show you around the beautiful town of Sandwich.
