Excellent Stay
5 stars 5

'AA +++++++ The White Rose Lodge was a delight & joy to stay at as Gill & Ian made myself & my wife very welcome ☺. The rooms are very clean & comfortable ( Wonderful Sleep ) The high light of our relaxing time was out in the garden under the stars drinking wine in there Hot Tub 😆 The breakfast is a 5***** meal in it's self. A must place to stay ☺'

Relaxing weekend
5 stars 5

'I recently stayed at the White Rose Lodge with a friend as we both wanted to get out of London for the weekend. We had a very relaxing time. Sandwich is a quaint and quiet town with a few lovely cafe's restaurants and pubs. The hospitality we received at the White Rose Lodge was wonderful and the breakfast in the conservatory on Sunday was the perfect way to start the day, with the sun shining through. The room was extremely clean and well kept, as was the bathroom and we would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quiet escape.'

Weekend getaway
4 stars 4

'This lovely sleepy town is a perfect weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The B&B is within walking distance from the walking path that follows the perimeter of this medieval town, which shows off it's history, gardens and architecture. It is also located close to the train station, making it easy to travel along the coast and see other tourist attractions.'

Comfortable accommodation
5 stars 5

'The bedding was lovely, the breakfast freshly cooked and delicious, the neighbourhood quiet and the garden view from my room very restful. My onlt small niggle was that there was nowhere to put my suitcase other than on the floor once I had unpacked. Otherwise, highly recommended.'

Short summer break
5 stars 5

'We came for a day conference at Ramsgate but never having visited Sandwich thought we would extend our time and stay here. We could not have chosen a more welcoming place. Gill was there to greet us and give us a much needed cream tea. One of us is gluten sensitive and Gill saw we had the right food. We very much enjoyed the delicious breakfasts with local produce. The rooms are most comfortable and private, just as described in the brochure. When we said we were interested in the history of the town we found out that Gill is a 'greeter' and she offered to give us a tour of Sandwich. We were even more impressed to find this was free. You will find kindness and consideration in most beautiful surroundings and within easy walking distance of the town - just leave your car at the Lodge and enjoy the spirit of this unique and beautifully conserved historic town.'

overnight stay
3 stars 3

'We had a comfortable stay at this b & b in Sandwich, very friendly, helpful owners. Its a shame the rooms are not ensuite as the baththroom we used was lovely just not the same having to go out of your room to the bathroom even though it is exclusively yours to use.'
