'A lovely characterful house. We stayed in the Alexander Brodie room, and my mum in the Thomas Telford room; both were clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely breakfast and helpful friendly hosts. Calcutts House is quiet and in an excellent location for visiting all the Ironbridge attractions, is within walking distance of 3 reasonable pubs and a 4 minute drive to other good restaurants. 'Calcutts is a superb property in a quiet location, ideally situated for everything in the Gorge. A girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a relaxing stay in the Lord Dundonald and Alexander Brodie rooms. Both rooms are stunning, are full of character, and have lovely views. Breakfast is excellent. The owners are a delightful couple and have every reason to be proud of Calcutts House.
