'More of a pub than a hotel. situation superb. welcome warm. Room had super views and bed comfortable and water hot. delicious meal in relaxed atmosphere and breakfast good.'

'My wife and I made a return visit after so enjoying our first visit in April 2011. It did not disappoint! Ian, James and their team are so welcoming and friendly, providing excellent food and drink in a warm convivial atmosphere, where there is always a "buzz" in the bar with many local characters present as regulars, which is nice to see. We'll be back again!'

'Absolutely love Coverack and the Paris is perfectly situated. We have eaten in the pub and restaurant many times before and the food is always good (generally pub food but with some nice specials). The room had lovely views and was reasonably large - the bathroom was clean but not very well finished - could all have done with a bit of updating but was nice enough. Fire escape on the landing kept us awake all night by banging in the wind despite us trying to close it. Overall, nice place to stay and would recommend if the fire escape was fixed and the whole place 'spruced up' a bit.'

The Paris Hotel - Description

The Paris Hotel is named after the famous liner of the same name that ran aground on the local rocks. The southern coastline of Cornwall is littered with the wrecks of numerous ships and the Lizard Peninsula has plenty. The Paris Hotel provides an ideal location to watch boats navigating the rugged coastline and to dream of the plunder that our ancestors salvaged from the disasters. The Paris Bar is always full of local characters with many a tale to tell. An excellent selection of local and national beers is on offer, together with a varied selection of wines and spirits. You can be assured of a warm welcome and plenty of local knowledge to make your stay especially memorable. The Paris Restaurant serves outstanding local seafood, meat and other dishes and vegetarians, vegans and those with special dietary requirements are amply catered for. Every dish is individually and freshly prepared especially for you. the chefs have a wide and varied experience that allows them to cater for every taste from traditionally Cornish to European, with desserts a real speciality. Breakfast 8am - 9am. Lunch 12 noon - 2.30pm. Dinner 6pm - 9pm. A comfortable bed and full English breakfast await you. The Paris Hotel is surrounded on three sides by the sea, so every room has fantastic views in addition to ensuite facilities, colour televisions and tea making facilities.
