This part of Cornwall boasts an exceptionally pleasant climate, where it is warm in summer, as you would expect, but is usually very mild in the autumn and winter and not forgetting that spring arrives a little earlier than in other parts of the country. Because of the mild climate, many unusual plants thrive that you would normally associate with the more tropical areas of the world and this gives Falmouth a different 'feel' to that of other coastal resorts
