'Although our stay was a short one we were made to feel very welcome and part of a family. It was like coming back home for me, as a child I spent many happy holidays down Browns Drove, Boston Lodge was the obvious choose for us to stay.'

'wanted somewhere close to a friends night out, to relax, shower & dress between work & the evening, and of course a relaxing overnight stay afterwards. Fitted the bill to a T. Met some other guests staying & we were all of the same mind - that it's a gem of a find for a relaxing B&B'

'Patrick was very welcoming and quickly remembered our names. Room was clean and tidy. Towels and flannels were provided. Breakfast was good with a selection of options available. Shower in the en-suite produced instantly hot water which always gets my vote, but cubicle was a bit cramped. My only negative comment relates to my bed which had a rather thin soft mattress on a solid base and was not very comfortable. My wife's bed was fine. Overall it was excellent value for money and we would certainly go back there.'

'Good location near Boston and across road from excellent pub/restaurant.Peaceful setting, modern well-appointed room, clean, lots of pillows/cushions, plenty of tea and coffee in room and excellent breakfast in spacious dining area. Only small gripe is tiny TV in room.'

'Patrick is a warm and friendly host. The accomodation is very clean, comfortable and well presented. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Location is ideal for access to major routes but with a 'country feel'. Many thanks Patrick.'

'We all had nice, clean and comfortable rooms with complimentary tea & coffee. Pat and the staff were very friendly providing a delicious cooked breakfast each morning of our 4 night stay and recommended 'The Barge' Pub & Restaurant just across the road, where all 10 of us enjoyed a few drinks the first night we arrived.'

'This is one of the best value-for-money B&B's we've ever stayed at. The rooms are clean, warm and well equipped and Patrick's breakfasts are always beautifully cooked. This was our third visit and hopefully we'll be back again soon. Evening meals are just a short walk away at the Barge Restaurant. We would happily recommend the Boston Lodge to anyone'

'I stayed with my 11yr old daughter for one night. There was only us and one other guest staying at the time. The welcome we received from Patrick was a very good one, and from the start you felt that you could ask for anything and they would try and accommodate it. The room was clean and adequate, and the addition of a fan heater was very welcome, although we didn't actually use it. Breakfast in the morning was lovely! My daugher enjoyed staying here, especially when she was able to make friends with the resident dog and cat! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend Boston Lodge to anyone else.'
