'Lovely place to stay, we were there for four days and the hosts and their pets made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable as was the bed.Food excellent especially the eggs,fresh fruit and fruit cake! Wells a short walk away and an interesting place to visit with a lot of beautiful walks. Will definitely be going back for another stay.'

'What a wonderful place to stay for luxury, friendliness and peace and quiet. We stayed in The Barn which has the most comfortable bed and a most warm and cosy atmosphere. Elaine and Stephen are the perfect hosts serving tasty breakfasts with eggs from their own free range chickens! There is a lovely 20 minute walk from Beltane across a field into Wells with a fabulous view of the Cathedral as you approach. We will definitely recommend Beltane to our friends and will stay again. 'Came to Wells for a 2 night stay including New Years Eve. Found the Beltane on an internet search and booked based on the reviews and website. The service was top notch - very warm and friendly. Our room was beautiful - Very comfy bed with lovely bed linen. Lots of little extras in the room made it extra special. The breakfast was superb, we had a cooked breakfast which tasted lovely. If you want a home from home, want to be spoilt with a fantastic breakfast and wonderful hosts then this is the place for you. Added to the fact that you have stunning scenery and abundant walking on your door step. It's a great base for touring the area. Off road parking. Stephen & Elaine made us very welcome when we returned from our night out in Wells on New Years eve and a good night was had by all. We will definately be coming back again.'

'We were a group of 6 and had booed 3 of the 4 rooms. Elaine & Stephen made us feel completely at home from the moment we parked our car. They gave us a full tour of our rooms; each room was great. 2 of the rooms had seperate sitting areas with a stcked up fridge. The house is located in a lovely village in a beautiful setting. All in all, we had a great time and am looking forward to stayng there again.'
