'Oyster Cottage has the most wonderful view of boat activity on the Solent.Set in a quiet cobbled street in Old Portsmouth it is an ideal location from which to explore and is only a 10-15 minute walk from Gunwharf Quays and The Harbour Railway Station.The room is very comfortable,beautifully furnished and breakfasts are substantial.The two delightful doggies (Rosie & Hattie) are part of the welcoming committee.Highly recommended and well worth staying again and again.'

'A last minute visit to my old college city after 20 years absence and I was very lucky to happen upon Oyster Cottage, Carol and her two beautiful pugs. It's a fantastic location to watch the sea and the ships, the house is spotless and beautifully decorated. Everything you may need is in your room. The clocks went forward and Carol generously allowed me to breakfast in 'old time'. Thus permitting me the luxury of a pre-breakfast walk without having to get up at an ungodly hour.
