'Myself and my partner stay in the Caxton room at The Printworks for new years eve! This is the best place we have ever stayed! The room was fantastic! Amazing comfortable king size bed and everything you need in a room! The en suite was like a spa. Shower and bath were both great features! The design of the room, and the ensuite was contemporary, yet un offensive, suitable for all ages and tastes! The dining area was spacious, and impressively designed by the owners, guaranteed to impress!! And enjoyable stay, thoroughly recommended! Hospitality of the owners was perfect!'

The Printworks B&B - Description

The Printworks is a unique Bed & Breakfast located within the original Hastings Observer Newspaper Building at 14 Claremont, Hastings, built in 1876 in the Venetian Gothic style and now restored to its original Victorian splendour. The building lies in the historic America Ground, close to the town centre with its cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants, a five-minute walk from the station and just 25 metres from the beach, giving easy access to both St Leonardâ��s and the Old Town. The rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors in a contemporary loft apartment, which combines luxurious accommodation with an informal atmosphere. Both spacious and private, they all have king size beds, free-sat TV, 15 Mb wireless broadband and tea and fresh coffee making facilities. Guests can choose from a comprehensive breakfast menu in the vaulted dining room or have a Continental breakfast served in their room.
