Birchwood Guest House is an award-winning Bed and Breakfast in Portsmouth, Heather and Ken Cottrell the owners, run this family business. Their aim is to welcome their guests in a friendly and informal style. Our bed and breakfast has the advantage of not only being close to the sea front, award winning gardens and major attractions; it is also within walking distance of a range of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Portsmouth has become increasingly popular with tourists from both home and abroad and is now renowned as a "world class" waterfront. With its famous and historic naval port and literary past, the city has a rich cultural heritage which lies in contrast to its more cosmopolitan side - symbolised by the iconic Spinnaker Tower.
