“Nice Little Break”

'Had a very relaxing time at the Porthole. The lovely view from the room/patio was excellent, looking over the North Sea and listening to the waves made it very peaceful. A nice walk along the beach and back to Whitby and there's a couple nice shops around Sandsend to look at. Overall a very enjoayable experience.'

The Porthole Sandsend Cottages - Description

The Porthole is an independent building in the grounds of Beacon Hill with it's own private entrance and car parking. The stunning bedroom, bathroom and small kitchenette are ideal for those wishing a few days away from it all. You can look directly out to sea or along the beach towards Whitby Abbey either through the large french windows or from your own private terrace. After a busy day out there is a T.V., radio and DVD player and films for your use as well as several books on local topics.
