'Took my mother away for 4 days & stayed at the Sea Trout Inn, what a relief I made a good choice,it is a lovely well run establishment.Rooms large & well furnished, comfortable & clean, TV, T/coffee etc.Bathrooms again well appointed & exceptionally clean. We stayed on a B,B & evening meal basis,there was plenty of choice on the menu & all of a high standard.It seems a popular eating place with the locals so that really says it all.Will deffinatley return {& I can not say that about a lot of places I have stayed at}'

'A truly great find! I found the Sea Trout Inn on laterooms.com in a last minute panic to get a local stay for a trip to a client in the area. I had no real idea about it as I am not familiar with south Devon. From the start I was very impressed. The quality for the price is very good value. The staff are all very friendly and attentive and nothign ti too much trouble. The food is incredible and I thoroughly enjoyed eveything that I was served. The eggs benedict for breakfast were so delicious. My job takes me to many places and I eat out a lot and the cuisine at the Sea Trout Inn is absolutely superb - they truly stand out from the crowd.'

'stayed for three nights staff very freindly and helpful rooms are clean bright and airy.steam train to go on within easy walking distance and watch the bats under bridge over river later on. It really does make you chill. Had a meal one night and it was spot on Asian style curry with crevettes. Also the breakfast choice and quality is extremely god and varied go again. Recommend you book over the phone to get a better deal for both you and the pub.'

The inn is well looked after, the bed was very comfortable and our room and ensuite shower were spotless. The staff were friendly and we were made to feel welcome.
