'My husband and I stayed at Churton Heath for one night as a gift from my parents. It was the perfect getaway. Vanessa was so welcoming as soon as we arrived. The Garden room was beautiful and we have never stayed in a room with so many thoughtful touches! The bed was so comfortable and we had a great nights sleep which is a rare thing with two small children! (we left them at home with their grannie!) The pub down the road serves fantastic home cooked food and it was lovely to sit in front of a real log fire! I would thoroughly recommend Churton Heath to anybody who wants a relaxing night away with a brilliant breakfast in the morning! We left feeling pampered and rejuvenated. Thank you very much.'

'We booked both rooms and stayed with friens traveling as two couples. Both rooms are beautiful and have everything you need Breakfast is delicious and Vanessa and Jim could not have been better hosts. It was a lovely relaxing stay and we were all made to feel at home. We purchased some of the fresh farm meat to take home and some of Vanessa's homemade jam all Yummy. Thankyou to both Vanessa and Jim for a wonderful couple of days from us all in your beautiful home. Only one problem and that was we couldn't stay longer. Look forward to seeing you again.'

'We spent 3 nights at Churton Heath Farm and were very impressed with everything. Vanessa was very welcoming and attentive and Jim was always very pleasant when we saw him. Our room was very clean and the decor was lovely, very much in keeping with the traditional farmhouse style. We liked the little things, the chocolates in the fridge, the fresh milk for our refreshment tray (as opposed to the UHT rubbish you normally get) and especially the fussing we received from the resident dogs, Treacle and Crumble. We found the welcome pack very informative and nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely and we left, after 3 days, well rested, well fed and very happy. We would definitely recommend Churton Heath Farm to anybody staying in or around Chester - we are a rather noise intolerant couple who have quite high standards and we found everything to be first class so we would be very surprised if anybody stayed there and had a negative experience.'
