A blissful place to get away from it all
5 stars 5

'What a beautiful place. Parc-le-breos is a fantastic hideaway from which to relax and enjoy the Gower Peninsula. The house and its surroundings are stunning and, with a mere 10-15 minutes walk down to the glorious Three Cliffs Bay beach. Owner Olive and her staff were an absolute delight and we couldn\'t have been made to feel more welcome. Can\'t think of anything that could have been improved. Would definitely recommend.'

'We enjoyed our stay at Parc-Le-Breos. The room was large and comfortable and had many common rooms to relax in as well as a games room with table tennis and snooker. Fantastic Weekend Break
5 stars 5

'Just returned from a fantastic weekend break where we stayed at the Log Cabin, which is located in a private wooded area of the estate. On the first evening we had an excellent \"home made\" dinner in the main house with other guests and also had a hearty breakfast prior to our return. The cabin has all modern facilities to be fully self contained, with a superb outdoor area to view, relax and unwind. Eating and drinking outdoors in Oct whilst overlooking a large trout pond with numerous birds (including a resident heron!) next to a large open log fire was such a treat and more than I had expected when making the booking. Certainly a place I will be visiting again.'

We stayed with our 2 year old son and it was very child friendly. All the guests staying here were friendly as it seems they were being well looked after too! Olive the host was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of space and I particularly liked that we could sit in other rooms within the house other than our room. Very comfortable stay

'We were made very comfortable at Parc Le Breos house, and our particular needs (having a nearly one year old) were well met. The room was clean and well presented and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is not a \"Premier Inn\" type of experience and, for example, whilst alcohol is available, there is no bar and food needs to be ordered well in advance. If you can see past these minor inconveniences you will be rewarded with a great stay. We spoke to returning guests of many years standing which says it all.'

'We had a very nice time at Parc-le-Breos. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. I must just say however that we didnt sleep very well- the walls must be very thin and we were disturbed quite a bit (room 6).The whole place could do with a bit more attention in the cleaning department-there was alot of dust and cobwebs both in our room and the restaurants.'

A real find!
4 stars 4

'Parc-Le-Breos is a real find - a tranquil and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting. The house and grounds retain the character and feel of the past but with all the comfort of modern day living. The family room we stayed in was very clean and much bigger than we had expected with a very comfortable king (or queen size) bed and two bunk beds for the children, so no fighting over who got the top bunk! The modern bathroom, which looked very new, was huge with a very large walk in shower. Table tennis in the games room provided great entertainment and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would genuinely recommend this lovely guest house.'

'We chose to stay at Parc le Brios from the information given on the web site as it seemed to fit our needs for our holiday in the Gower. The accommodation was excellent , with home cooked food if required for an evening meal. There was a very welcoming atmosphere and one of our main criteria was to be able to access good walks. To this end walk plans were available and plenty of walks from the house with no need to drive anywhere. Brilliant. a lovely holiday in a country house in beautiful grounds, with added bonus of a lovely weeks weather. Sylvia & Colin Wilkinson'

perfect for a family holiday
5 stars 5

'We all very much enjoyed our stay at Park le Breos for a reunion of our family, some members from New York. We came as grandparents with our married children and grandchildren (aged 14 and 10 and a baby of 10 months). We were all very comfortably housed in nice rooms. The staff were all so nice and friendly and dealt with our different orders for wonderful breakfasts with great efficiency. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting three cliffs bay and Rossili beach - and the Worms head. The house has great atmosphere - we thought rather like a house in an Agatha Christie plot which amused everyone very much (as we had all been playing Cluedo!) . Olive (the owner) who runs it is quite wonderful. It is in a part of outstandingly beautiful countryside. The staff were so flexible and let us have a table for a family game of cards on 2 evenings. But there are facilities for billiards and ping pong. It was lovely to sit out on the terrace. We all (of all ages) had a lovely time'

parc-le breos house
4 stars 4

'I stayed here for a few days last week and was most impressed by the personal care and attention which I received. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Olive was amazing -- worked non-stop and always cheerful and helpful. My room was spacious and well maintained and although I did not have any evening meals I could see that they were good and wholesome. All in all a brilliant and peaceful place from which to explore the Gower. The reasons why I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars are the lack of baths [showers only] in the rooms, although I was able to use a bath downstairs, and the dreadful wifi and mobile connections -- not the fault of Parc-Le Breos!'

Dog friendly
5 stars 5

'We stayed two nights with our dog. The dog-friendly room has a door leading out onto the yard at the back of the house, which is really useful. The room is well appointed but quite small so it might be a squeeze if you have a large dog or lots of suitcases. The location is fantastic, really quiet with loads of birdlife. The wonderful Three-Cliffs Bay is only a 20 minute walk away across the fields. A pint of \'Gower Power\' beer on the terrace is a must after a walk to the beach. The staff are excellent and the food is good home cooking. Olive, the owner, is really helpful. I am gluten-free and that was no problem for her. She even cooked me a wonderful g-f cheesecake with black currants from the garden. We will definitely be returning.'

'Comfortable surroundings and period decoration in keeping with its past, 30 minutes walk to the beach on Three cliffs Bay.Great home cooked food for dinner. Room 15 on ground floor was small(cheapest) but with a good bathroom, it had an alternative door straight to yard outside which we found handy for loading the car. Room was tidy and clean. Everyone in this family run B&B was very friendly and helpful. Lots of rooms to relax outside the bedroom which makes you feel at home, it even has a small guest kitchen area. A long weekend in April
4 stars 4

'We stayed 3 nights at Parc-Le-Breos in early April and had a very restful stay. The breakfasts were very good and the staff attentive but also easy-going. I wish we had discovered the conservatory earlier - we had checked in quite late and maybe weren\'t given a full \"tour\" - but we had breakfast there on the last morning. I was also able to use the conservatory to do some studying and was left in peace by the staff! I lived in nearby Gowerton for 20 years but had never been to Parc-Le-Breos, so was pleased to have found it.'

Cosy break in the country side
5 stars 5

'The location is perfect to feel the tranquillity of the country side. From the village you can follow short paths through the forest or heading the beach. It is also possible booking horse riding if you like. If the weather is not good enough, you can also stay cosily indoor enjoying the different areas of the House, such as the reformed Greenhouse, the TV room or the play room, including also a small kitchen available for customers 24/7. Breakfast is not massive but big enough and, more important, fresh and cooked on demand. Lovely and helpful crew, they make you feel at home. Highly recommended.'

Respite, beauty, and vigour
5 stars 5

'Simply put, an amazing experience. The food was excellent, the rooms were spacious and well appointed (and the curtains created a dark space until well into the morning). We downloaded and followed the directions for a few of the hikes posted on the Parc-le-Breos website. Cefn Bryn and the Three Cliffs Bay are very close to the lodge and are fantastic hikes. We visited the Bay at low tide the first afternoon and then at high tide the next day. The juxtaposition of experience was breathtaking. The circle hike from the lodge to the Bay, then past the Pennard Castle ruins, and finally back via the road is well worth the time investment. We only spent one day away here, but intend to return in the near future.'

Wonderful
5 stars 5

'We stayed with friends who also had two children. I can\'t imagine a better place to go for a mini break such as ours. We had the use of the lounge and games room, which the children loved. We were made to feel incredibly welcome, it felt like home by the time we left. The family are so warm and friendly, they went out of their way to accommodate us, even providing us with plates and wine glasses when we brought back a takeaway! The next night we went for the three course evening meal, which was fabulous, huge portions. Both families had 6 and 4 year olds. We had a family room that had two sets of bunk beds! So for those of you that have more than two, this would be a great choice. The shower was big enough for the whole family! As for the local scenery, that speaks for itself. It is a stunning part of the world. I can\'t recommend Parc Le Breos enough. We hope to go back next year.'

An oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the Gower
5 stars 5

'I was so glad I chose Parc Le Breos for my stay on the Gower. It is perfectly situated to get to the beaches and attractions both on the popular South side and the less well known North Gower side too. The welcome was lovely and warm, coffee and Welshcakes in the comfy lounge. My bedroom was beautifully appointed with views over the courtyard and garden. You can take a number of walks from here, I explored Three Cliffs Bay and Penmaen on a lovely Spring morning. Don\'t forget to try the laverbread with your Welsh breakfast, it makes it the Full Welsh!'

'From the warm welcome to the beautiful surrounding, and hearty breakfast my stay at parc le breos exceeded my expectations. Great guest facilities weather your relaxing or being active; The conservatory, guest lounge and beautiful extensive grounds Be warned there are a couple of persistant dogs, who will have you playing \'fetch\' for hours ! The only minor bug bear was the shower temprature could be warmer and is a little dated. Excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely stay again.'

'We stayed last year and had a lovely time. The house was great, Olive and her staff couldn\'t have been more friendly and helpful. We have just been back for the second time and stayed in the log cabin, the weather was wet and windy but the cabin was warm, cosy and we felt like we were in our own little tranquil world. We walked, played games and enjoyed our full English breakfast each day. Olive and staff once again were amazing and we plan to come here every year to make the best memories ever... its a special part of the world and Parc le Breos is perfect!! Thank you'
