'We stayed in the Adriatric hotel last weekend, we had a really enjoyable stay there. The owners were very friendly and personable and could not do enough for us. 'The most important point was that the staff were so friendly and helpful; always eager to please and nothing seemed too much trouble. OK, the hotel itself isn't luxury - the rooms are a bit small and facilities are basic but everywhere you get the impression that everyone's making the best of what they have and, overall, yes, it worked - it was a very quiet, pleasant and comfortable stay. One of the few places I've ever stayed in where the temperature in the rooms was ideal all day and night - never too hot or cold! Breakfast was excellent too and great value for £6. Only slight grumble was that one night, someone had obviously been smoking in the public areas and the smell (just) managed to find its way into the bedrooms overnight, which wasn't pleasant. Not the best area in Leeds but very convenient for St. James' Hospital and (just) within walking distance of the City Centre. If I ever have to come back to Leeds, this WILL be the first place I try ... just fantastic value for money, really.'

'I chose this hotel due to the proximity to Roundhay Park and the high quality website where I was able to select and book a room directly. On arrival the staff were very helpfull and had noted my comments on needing to set off early the following morning and had planned to accomodate my breakfast requirements. all the staff were very friendly and accomodating, I would stay here again. The only slight negative was that the previous occupant of my room had smoked and the room retained the smell a little bit!'

'Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The rooms whilst clean, are very tired and in need of updating. The door in the bathroom was coming off its hinges and the wash basin had a gap between the pedestal and basin. However, it is good value for money and in a convenient location.'

'Just returned from a two night stay at the Adriatic Hotel in Leeds. The staff were so welcoming and made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. '£37 for an en-suite room and breakfast isn't exactly at the top of the market so my expectations weren't great. However, I'd certainly stay at the Adriatic again. Sure, the room was small and a little dated but it was clean and comfortable and it was so refreshing to be checked in and out by somebody who actually cared that you had a good stay and shook your hand as you were leaving. Breakfast was good and the location was perfect for me. So 5 stars to the Adriatic.'
