'We had two good sized rooms with large bathrooms including baths. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good especially the free range eggs. Location was excellent with everything in Skipton in walking distance.'

simple and lovely
5 stars 5

'I stayed here for two nights in a single room, Its a lovely litle guest house my room was small but homely- all i needed! The bathroom was seperate but only one door away down the little corridor and i had a key to lock o no one could use it but me. I was very happy with my room but the double rooms do have ensuites. As a single female staying alone i was comfortable and felt safe, it was also only a short walk to the centre of town and i didnt worry walking it alone at night as its on a nice street. all in all i would recommend it. p.s fantastic kippers for breakfast!'

Dales Trip

'Highfield Guest House was excellent wrt location, room, service, cleanliness etc. Skipton is a great place to stay/visit with lots to do (Castle, Canal boats etc and lovely pubs, restuarants. The whole package is set in the Yorkshire Dales which from an ex Yorkshire couple living in Devon, doesn't get any better'

Enjoyable stay
5 stars 5

'Had a lovely weekend in Skipton and found the Highfield Guest house to be very good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and from the top floor room we even had a view of the hills. The guest house is a very easy walk into the centre of town (10 minutes. The owners are pleasant and helped with finding a parking space. Provided a whole packet of ginger biscuits to have with our tea in the room, how good is that? would stay again'
