'We were invited to a wedding at the hotel and decided to stay over. The rate was very reasonable as it also included breakfast. The wedding itself was delightful and there were no problems whatsoever. 'Good location for central Scotland near access to motorway. Good hotel, friendly staff, good food. You can dine in the Bar, Lounge or Restaurant. Only complaint is the shower head in the executive rooms over the past month I have stayed in three different rooms, the same problem in each, they must be replaced.'

'We had one night only here, in one of the courtyard/garden rooms - at only £50 for the two of us including full Scottish breakfast, this must be one of the best deals around! Good choice of breakfast meals. We were attending a function at a nearby venue so didn't get a chance to have more than a quick dring in the bar - but can vouch for the Guiness and Belhaven Best :-)'

'Very happy with my stay at the Castlecary. Everything was clean and pretty good for the money. Room was well decorated, Everything was provided, shower was good. Only minor niggles I can think of are that the door had no blackout curtain (and the outside light was flickering all night) and i was woken up by lorries driving past early sunday morning.
