Excellent choice
5 stars 5

'Chose this hotel as do not like soul-less chain hotels and was not disappointed. Had a lovely big room at the back of the hotel with a very comfy bed. Ate in the hotel at night, the food was first class. Great breakfast. Close to Manchester airport but a very quiet area. Staff very friendly. Would definately stay here again and would highly recommend to others.'

Final day of vacation from US
4 stars 4

'Super convenient; marvelous to be able to park the car, stroll to the 'tram' station and get delivered into the Manchester city centre. The best freshest hottest breakfast, eggs beautifully 'over-easy' of our whole brief British vacation. Also very convenient for avoiding city traffic when we left for Quarry Bank Mill and Manchester Airport going via the lanes. Congratulations & thanks.'

'We had a very enjoyable stay at the Eskdale Hotel. We were made very welcome on arrival. Our room (No 5) was lovely, there was everything we could possibly have wanted in the room, complimentary bottle of water, sweets, tea/coffee tray with biscuits. The bathroom was immaculate with liquid soap etc. All in all it was a very comfortable room, and if we are ever in the area again and need a hotel, this would be our first choice. Thank you. Ann'

Eskdale Lodge Hotel
5 stars 5

'Stayed here on Sat 11/6 as Take that were playing in Manchester so the prices for the centre were ridiculous. We were more than pleased with the hotel.Stayed in a Superior double which could have slept4 people and was very large.Lovely decorated and a clean modern bathroom with bath & shower. We took a taxi into the centre and cost £12 and was approx 15 mins.Would definately stay there again.Didnt have breakfast as got up too late but the food in both the restaurant and the bar looked lovely and plenty of people were eating.'

SHORT, BUT SWEET STAY !
5 stars 5

'We booked the Hotel for 1 night only, as previous Tripadvisor reports read well, & it was convenient for the Metro stop. We can now confirm the Hotel is well worth it's Star rating, as the room was very comfortable, with the added refinements of some nibbles, bottled water, & a full bathroom kit, usually only found in more expensive Hotel Groups. We didn't have an evening meal, though the bar / lounge area was full of customers, & the food " smelt " good, though the Full English breakfast was excellent, again accompanied by more than is usual in smaller Hotels. We will certainly stay here again on our next visit to Manchester, & thanks to Grazyna & Garvan for their hospitality - & hope you enjoy the Final on Saturday ! From Pam & Rob Littleton'

Clean, comfortable, friendly atmosphere, great hosts
5 stars 5

'We stayed for 4 nights in one of the smaller double rooms. When we travel, all we really care about is that the room is clean and comfortable and has a shower, and this fit the bill perfectly. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet neighbourhood, but close enough to the main road. The price was reasonable. Breakfast was good. There was a nice bar with a TV in each section and one in the dining room. There was suprisingly no noise in the room from the bar downstairs. The hosts and staff were extremely friendly and accomodating and went out of their way to help us. We couldn't have asked for more really. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.'

3 night stay
5 stars 5

'I really enjoyed my stay at the Eskdale. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The breakfast was really nice and we were always asked if we wanted more toast. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the towels were changed daily. I would definately recommend this as a good base to stay as Sale itself has lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy.'
