Great Stay
5 stars 5

'On a snowy weekend we had a great welcome upon arrival and a very comfortable room and en-suit. The village pub next door was very convivial and though we did not have a meal, the menu looked great. The breakfast was really good, all locally supplied produce, including the eggs from the chickens in the garden. I would not hesitate to recommend Edale House and will most certainly use them again next time I visit he Forest of Dean.'

'This B&B is run by a friendly couple with a cute huge dog. The room is clean and tidy, and you can see their consideration for the guests' comfortable stay. Breakfast is exceptionally good with very tasty and locally produced bacon and sausages.'

'Well looked after, tea and cake on arrival in lounge, yummy! Very comfortable clean room with all the little extras: toiletries, biscuits and chocolates! Fresh milk in fridge for tea in room nice touch. The best breakfast ever, no grease and huge mushrooms. Honesty bar if required. Well done and thanks Terry and Jane'

'A relaxed and very warm welcome awaited us on arrival with tea/coffee and cakes on offer. This B&B is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and a delicious full English breakfast was available every morning together with a choice of cereals, fruit and pastries. This is a beautiful part of the country and any visit here will be enhanced by a stay at Edale House. Highly recommended.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing break in the Forest of Dean and environs, made special by our stay at Edale House. It was "home from home", very welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Should we be down that way again, we would not hestitate in booking in again.'

Lovely and comfortable B&B
5 stars 5

'It is centred in the Forest of Dean which is perfect for walking and exploring and only a short driving distance from activities such as Go Ape or canoeing and other attractions such as Clearwell Caves or Puzzlewood. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good with a good selection to chose from. The owners were nice and very helpful and their dog was friendly and well behaved. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.'

That little extra touch.
5 stars 5

'Edale House is a lovely hotel in a nice positon in the Forest of Dean. Terry and Jane (owners) are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble for them. You definitely DO NOT go away from the table hungry. Our room was spotless as was everywhere that we went and the extra touch of a few chocolates in your room each day was a lovely gesture. We wish them every success for the future as they have not been there long.'
