'This is the second time of staying at this hotel. I have never felt so much at home in any hotel as I did in Hadrian Lodge Hotel. Everything about this hotel is great, the staff, the rooms, cleanliness of the hotel and the good food. Have recommended the hotel to friends, family and colleagues, and will continue to do so. Thanks to everyone at the hotel, this includes the owner! You all made my stay enjoyable. Hope to see you again. God bless!'

'The rooms are fairly basic, but they do offer all the facilities you would expect from a hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean and although the bed seemed hard at first, we actually slept very well. Good value for money.'

'Despite outward appearances on arrival, we were very happy with our overnight stay. The accommodation, whilst a little tired, had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was quiet and well run, the food available in the restaurant was very good, as was the inclusive breakfast.'

'Our room was clean and comfortable, with TV and plenty of sockets for plugging in laptops and phones. Evening meal was good and reasonably priced. The price of £55 for 2 people for one night, including a decent continental breakfast, was great value. This hotel is not for you if you want total luxury in the centre of Newcastle, but if you are looking for a real bargain, this is it. The hotel is right beside Hadrian Road Metro station, so handy if you don't want to drive into the city centre. It is also near the Tyne Tunnel and the start of Hadrian's Wall at Segedunum. Last but certainly not least, I have to mention the friendly welcome given by the staff. We will be back.'

'We have stayed here several times now as it is one of the cheapest and more convenient hotels in Newcastle. Definitely could benefit from some redecoration which I could see was happening already. No food served on a Sunday and no alternative is given as to where to eat which was a bit dispointing for a hotel.'

'My wife and I enjoyed the jovial familiarity of the staff and the easy adjustability of the menu to our requirements. It was pleasant not to have to negotiate stairs and the room was all that was needed for our study of the Wall in a number of locations. I'd recommend this facility to anyone.'

'I stayed at the Hadrin Lodge Hotel for 3 nights with my 15 year old grandson. We were both satisfied with the services. The only thing we felt were odd, were the small window of the room. This meant that the room was fairly dark even on sunny days. But it was not a big problem.'
