'We were made to feel most welcome. The room had all the facilities and was very clean. When my daughter & family arrived they were made just as welcome & their rooms were the same as ours. 'An excellent couple of nights stay during a house-hunting visit. We were made to feel "at home" from the first minute. Good, clean, comfortable facilities and wonderful garden, which made up for the absolutely foul weather. Breakfast was yummy, especially the 'local bacon & sausage!' 'From the initial warm greeting through to the end of our stay we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ammonite Lodge. The room was extremely clean and well presented with everything we needed. Breakfast had a wide variety of cereals, jams, fruit, etc and the English breakfast was cooked to absolute perfection. Both our hosts provided a wealth of useful information on places to eat in the evenings as well as valuable advice on where to go during the day. Definitely recommended for anyone who wishes to stay somewhere central to many attractions and travel out each day.'
