'Live in Melbourne Australia and found St Andrews on the Internet. Email correspondence was both fast and pleasant so made a booking for my son and I to spend three nights there while we were in England on holiday. 'Have just returned from a weekend staying at St. Andrews Lodge & were very pleased with it. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Also a full size fridge which is quite rare in hotel rooms. Loved the little touches like the cotton wool, tissues and dish of boiled sweets. Breakfast was delicious and a very good choice too. Would definitely stay again and can highly recommend.'

'I am almost reluctant to give a good review in case everybody hears how good it is and I won't be able to get in again. Richard and Ann are lovely welcoming people - my lovely room with a balcony sported a superking size bed (for one) with 6 pillows, coffee table and easy chairs - it was beautifully decorated and presented and the bathroom similarly. Everything worked - breakfast was relaxed with a lovely view of the stunning garden and every want catered for. I am planning a summer break with Biff the dog - yes, they welcome dogs too downstairs! Thank you Richard and Ann.'

'We spent two nights at St Andrews Lodge in September. Our king size balcony room was very comfortable and equipped with all we needed. The one exception was that we couldn't get the freeview reception to work on the TV - but since we were not in the hotel for long it really didn't matter. The bed was very confortable and the bathroom large and sparkling clean. Breakfast was well cooked but we could have done with a little more flexibility over the timing. We would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to others, and we will be back.'
