'We had a very enjoyable two night stay at the Victoria Guest House, slept very well in the super comfortable bed and couldn't fault the delicious breakfast - so much choice, so few mornings! The owners were extremely kind and obviously took a keen interest in their guests. Regarding the size of the bathroom, yes it was small but absolutely adequate for our needs. However, you do need to be related or extremely good friends as the bathroom was only separated from the bedroom by a folding door! However (and this is the important part if that sort of thing matters to you) there was a perfectly good, clean larger bathroom across the landing from our room and another separate toilet. Although the guest house was full no one ever seemed to need the shared bathroom when I was using it. We would, without hesitation stay there again. By the way, Cambridge is wonderful!'

'The service we received during our stay really was first-class. The owner cooked breakfast for us even though we were late down, bought as some chocolates as it was our anniversary, and on the final day, made as bacon and sausage sandwiches as we had slept through breakfast - all this at no extra charge! Emma, the owner, also had a wealth of knowledge on local shops, events, restaurants and things to do in Cambridge and really went the extra mile for us, making our stay there a memorable one.'

'Victoria House is as picturesque in person as it is in the photographs online. It is a short walk/bike ride outside of town and near a Co-op and some take away restaurants for convenient dining. Duncan and Emma are fantastic hosts - they both helped me acclimate to the town and find fun things to do. The breakfasts are huge and delicious. I had the English Breakfast twice and the Continental once. I recommend both. The room was spacious, clean, and the accommodations were very nice. I will certainly stay at Victoria House if and when I'm in Cambridge again.'

'I totally recommend this B&B. The couple that run it are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well-furnished (and amply stocked with tea & biscuits).
