'I came over from Germany and spent some days in April in the cabin. It's so comfortable and relaxing! The garden, the fields, the animals and the whole surrounding is absolutely beautiful. Theresa and her family are very warm-hearted persons. I'll come back - for sure!'

'We stayed at the Garden Lodge which is a lovely cottage facing a lake. One can't forget the experience you have there. It was a very comfortable stay. The cottage had everything anyone can think of while away from home. The area is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has a very peaceful atmosphere. Theresa and Jim are excellent hosts making you feel comfortable all the time. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.'

'What a lovely little lodge! Theresa is a wonderful host and the lodge is sweet and cozy. We loved the pond, watching the ducks, and snuggles from Nelly the doggy.'

'Our second visit; this time we stayed in the King room which we would recommend. It is cosy and comfortable with the separate dressing room making it quite spacious. There is a separate shower on the first floor landing which may be a little inconvenient for some. Lakeside Farm is in a lovely setting, with an exceptional landscaped garden and lake. Jim and Theresa are very welcoming and helpful with hints, knowledge of local attractions and guidance. Be prepared for the delicious breakfast including the home made goodies. Thank you'

'Our stay at the Lakeside Town Farm was absolutely fabulous. We arrived late the first night and the instructions that Theresa had left us made it simple to find the place and get settled. Everyone at the Lakeside Town Farm made us feel welcome and provide suggestions on local sights and activities. Theresa cooked us wonderful breakfasts that helped fuel our days. The cottage we stayed in was perfect. Clean, quiet and just the right size for self catering. The gardens about the house are beautiful and there is plenty of open sapce for a quiet walk. My husband and I would highly recommned a stay at teh Lakeside Town Farm and would stay there again if ever we found ourselves back in the area. Thank you Theresa for a wonderful stay.'

'We stayed in the Garden Lodge for three nights. Theresa, Jim and their family were very welcoming but gave us the space to have our independence and a really relaxing break. The Lodge is very clean, comfortable and everything works! The garden is lovely and the breakfast delicious. Home-made bread and jams too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to our friends.'

'I had a lovely, restful two nights at Lakeside Town Farm during a study trip to Oxford. Hosts Theresa and Jim were warm and welcoming, and the home-cooked breakfasts were delicious. Theresa also had some excellent tips for what to see in Oxford and advice for the Park-and-Ride service into the city, a short trip up the M40. My room was very comfortable and extremely well-stocked with refreshments and toiletries, I felt rather spoiled! I also had a lovely view of the green, flower-filled gardens outside and could hear only the fountain tinkling and the birds singing. The grounds are also lovely to walk around on sunny evenings, with a pretty lake and ducks right opposite the house. I really enjoyed my stay and would have loved another night in such pretty surroundings before returning to the bustle of London! Thanks for a really lovely stay, I'm sure I'll be back on my next trip to Oxford!'
