'A couple of friends and I stayed here when meeting up in York for a girlie weekend. Ken and Sue, the owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble (including posting back items left behind!) Rooms were spotless and comfortable and the little touches made all the difference. Good location with an easy walk from the station and into the centre of York. 'This is the second time we have stayed at the dairy guest house and found our hosts and stay very pleasent. It is great value for money and we will definatly be staying there again. The only negative we have found is that we would prefer continetal quilts on the bed rather than blankets but other than that excellent!! 'Booking in seamless, room very comfortable and some nice touches, e.g. complimentary beverages, biscuits, one bottle of water and a chocolate every day. Good idea to leave your breakfast requests the evening before. Breakfast very good as was service. Ken and Sue very helpful with directions etc. Only fault my partner had was the bed a bit too firm but he was fine after the first night. All in all would recommend.'
