'we really loved the Grosvenor and we will be back. Lovely place, amazing room, friendly and warm welcome. We liked everything. Just a suggestion, add black pudding on the breakfast.'

'Hotel is spotlessly clean & in a wonderfully quiet location near to Haymarket; an easy walk into Central Edinburgh. We opted not to have the full breakfast, but the choice was plentiful. Only slightly negative point was that our room was very cold on arrival. However it had warmed up nicely by the time we'd returned from dinner.'

Lovely stay
5 stars 5

'I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The owner of the hotel was very welcoming and despite having booked a twin room, my friend and I were placed in a family room which was well kept and spacious. I had broken my foot before travelling and was on crutches - the owner made sure that I was happy with access to the room and the dining room (down a short flight of steps) which I was. The hotel is in a nice, quiet location with good access to the Haymarket railway station and bus stops. The main town centre was only a 20-30 minute walk (even on crutches!). The shower cubicle and bathroom were a little cramped (especially if you are tall!), but overall, a lovely hotel with friendly, welcoming staff!'

Great Hotel
5 stars 5

'I really enjoyed my stay at the Grosvenor gardens hotel. The room is a good size, the shower is excellent and the staff is really helpful, efficient and polite. It's well located, just a 10 minute walk to Princes Street. I would definitely go back.'

Very kind personell
4 stars 4

'The hotel is placed in one of Edinburghs old residental houses and has a quite old interior (execpt electronics). The personell, especially the holder is very polite and kind. Breakfast is typical british and contains all one would need to starting with (cereals, vegetables, coffe, tea, toast, eggs, ham, sausages, potato scones, etc.). Bus and train stations is just about 200 m away. One star deduction for the old single-glazed windows and doors (due to heritage conservation) letting sound and cold come in and the volatile WiFi compatibility.'

Great Hotel
5 stars 5

'Had a great stay here (Two nights in the deluxe room). The staff were very polite, rooms very clean, choice of cooked breakfast, cereal, cold plate etc & located 2 mins away from Haymarket train station. Approx 30 mins walk into town & near to Murryfield Rugby stadium. Only one small complaint there wasn't any complimentary Whiskey in the room as described but plenty of shops in Edinburgh sell it if you really want some.'

Charming Guest House in Edinburgh West End
5 stars 5

'Charming older guest house (B&B) run by a very nice and accommodating family. The manager went out of her way to help including leading us to a free parking area, driving us back to the hotel, and delivering us and our luggage back to our car again on our departure day!'
