'Three of us stayed here before and on our return to Lundy Island. We were welcomed at the house with a tray of tea and biscuits which was very welcome. Rod sat down with us and was very friendly and informative. We were able to leave our car at the premise during our stay in Lundy which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice of hot and cold foods. The view from our room was excellent and the bathroom was very bright and airy. We arrived back from Lundy quite late in the evening but Rod was again there to welcome us and let us know where the best place for food was. I would definately stay at Varley house in the future.'

'We stayed a Varley House for one night on our way to Lundy Island, we were very pleased with our clean room which had a bay window and wonderful view towards the sea. We were made very welcome and had a lovely breakfast. We were pleased to leave our car at Varley House and walk down to habour which takes 15mins to get the boat to Lundy for 3 days. Excellent'

'They went out of their way to give us a really nice stay, even juggling rooms to allow us to have a bath rather than shower. The views from the bay window were amazing, across the town or the hills to the sea. I would highly recommend this place.'
